Wireless Hacking Tools

Assalamualaikum. Here there are some of tools that you may use to do wireless hacking instead of beini and backtrack.

1) Finding wireless network

• NetStumbler - Window based tool that easily finds wireless signal being broadcast within range.
  
• Kismet - will detect & display SSIDs that are not being broadcast.
  
• Dstumbler - support logging Access Point (AP) locations with a GPS.

2)Attaching to the found of wireless network

• Airsnort – to sniff & crack WEP keys.
  
• Cowpatty – used as a bruteforce tool for cracking WPA-PSK for home wireless security

3)Sniffing wireless data

• Wireshark / Tcpdump / Prism2dump, AiroPeek NX
